Game Plan for Game Day

Whether you’re trying to catch a game, a concert or a show, Commuter Rail can take you to some of the biggest stadiums and venues in the region.

Find information about trains to Gillette Stadium, Fenway Park, TD Garden, and the DCU Center below, and consult the MBTA Trip Planner for details on reaching your final destination from your nearest Commuter Rail stop.

Special event trains to Gillette are $20 round trip, but for other destinations don’t forget about $10 Weekend Tickets!

Gillette Stadium

For games, special event trains headed to Gillette Stadium will leave from South Station in Boston, making stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center, as well as Providence, Rhode Island with stops at Providence, South Attleboro, Attleboro, and Mansfield before arriving in Foxboro. Fenway Park

Fenway Park is accessible by Commuter Rail via Lansdowne Station on the Framingham/Worcester line. You can make your way to the ballpark in a few different ways depending on the direction you’re travelling in. TD Garden

The TD Garden is located directly above North Station. The Lowell, Haverhill, Newburyport/Rockport and Fitchburg lines all run directly into North Station, requiring passengers to simply head upstairs to enter the arena.

If you’re arriving from the south on the Greenbush, Kingston/Plymouth, Middleborough/Lakeville, Franklin, Fairmount, Providence/Stoughton, Needham, or Framingham/Worcester line, you can make your way to South Station and then either take the subway or walk to the TD Garden/North Station. DCU Center

The DCU center is an approximately 9-minute walk (less than a half mile) from Worcester Station on the Framingham/Worcester line out of South Station. For details on the venue and its schedule of events, just click here.
